The Department of Psychology in the Faculty of Community and Health Sciences has a growing reputation as a leading educational provider for undergraduate and postgraduate professional Psychology programmes. The Faculty of Community and Health Sciences is seeking to permanently appoint a Senior Lecturer/ Lecture within the Department of Psychology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Teaching and learning at the Undergraduate and Psychology Honours level.
- Teaching on either the professional Master's Clinical or Research Psychology programme (depending on registration)
- Research supervision of Psychology Honours and Master's level students.
- Research supervision of doctoral-level students, if in possession of a PhD.
- Clinical and/or psychometry supervision of Master's level students if senior psychologist status was achieved.
- Participation in research, curriculum development and staff development.
- Developing industry and academic partnerships.
- Participation in community engagement
- Responsible for administrative duties within the department, faculty and the university.
