The event began on Monday with invitation-only trainings.
On Tuesday, 16th September, we hosted a full day of skills-building workshops, alongside continued trainings. These sessions offered hands-on learning in evidence-based practices and were selected during registration.
The Opening Ceremony took place on Wednesday, 17th September. From then until Thursday, 18th September, attendees enjoyed a mix of keynote presentations and panel discussions, a chance to learn, exchange ideas, and connect. Global and national leaders in addiction science shared groundbreaking research, policy developments, and innovative interventions. Trainings continued concurrently.
Friday, 19th September, featured our Cultural and Networking Day, an opportunity to experience Balinese culture, strengthen connections, and build new partnerships in a relaxed setting. It was a meaningful way to conclude the week together.

Friday 19th September
Participants were invited to join a field visit to Desa Panglipuran, one of Bali’s most iconic and well-preserved traditional villages. The visit offered a unique opportunity to experience local Balinese culture, traditional architecture, and community values passed down through generations.
